INTEGRATION





By "taming" the object made of liquid latex, I alter its dynamics—I do not submit to the high-heeled shoes; they submit to me. And yet, paradoxically, the tamed object becomes even more oppressive than the untamed one. These shoes are impossible to walk in.


What begins as a fashion gadget, mutates into something I can integrate my body with. It softens, becomes a skin-like extension of my own feet. I might put some make-up on, blend it with my flesh—humanize the inhuman.


An eerie glimpse into sensual, futuristic posthumanism...
